How fitting that on the day we got to visit Grandpa Pappas, who has a pool, it was warm and beautiful!
Maia and Aleks took advantage of the pool. The water must have been at least 80 degrees.

Ruby, of course, was her usual gorgeous self just sitting around.
Grandpapa (this is what Maia started calling him) enticed Maia out of the pool by telling her about the toys that are in his "cave."
The attic proved to be a little too scary for our 2 year old. Grandpapa promised her that they'd try again next year.
Our Ruby Ann is named after Gordon's bride of 60 years.
Naming our daughter after her is a small expression of the love we have for my late grandmother and the special bond she and my grandfather share.

I should mention one other highlight of the visit. Grandpapa had a popsicles! Believe it or not, I think this was the first time that Maia has had one.

She kept asking for another "possum."
Awe!! How sweet. I do love maia's suit, where did you get it? I love the photo of Ruby Ann & grandpa! And "possum"? She is just too cute!
